I got an email from Griff on Sunday evening, asking me if I would trade my Female Hypo/Hogg Island Boa for his Male 100% DH Snow Boa....Since I have a Female Salmon Hypo...I immediately said yes!! We had a nice long email session of questions and answers, and then we both decided to go through with the trade....I got the dh snow in this morning, and I gotta tell you....the man "knows" how to ship a snake! The snake was inside a new "snake bag", the snake bag was in a new plastic rubbermade shoebox, the shoebox was all wrapped up in towels and placed inside a new shipping box!! Needless to say...I was "very" impressed!! The snake itself, came with ALL the paperwork...including, lineage, feeding chart, shedding chart, pictures and description of the parents (which he emailed me pics of Sunday&#33....what a gorgeous animal!!
I called him this morning to tell him of his arrival, and I was very pleased to find he's a great guy on the phone, too!! Not to mention, he works for law-enforcement as his "real" job!!
If any of you ever have the opportunity to do business with Griff....don't even think twice!! Just do it! You'll be very happy with the outcome! I AM!!
Thanks, Griff ....Neil

I am in such "awe" right now...it's not even funny!! Read this!!

I sent out MY Hypo/Hogg on Monday, for a Tuesday delivery via UPS (#1z104yy52310000008)...on Tuesday, when the package "still" hadn't arrived by 3pm, Griff did a search and found out that the package was mis-directed and ended up in another city!! It wouldn't be delivered until today!! I was very concerned, to say the least! Well...I guess my concerns were justified, because I got an email from Griff this morning telling me of the "decomposed snake" that was finally delivered!! I was mortified! This is the first time anyone has ever received a dead snake from me....
I immediately emailed Griff back to tell him of my sorrows and to tell him that I would ship his snake back to him on Monday, and I will worry about UPS myself...after all, it wasn't his fault (or mine, for that matter)....well, here comes the "awe" part!!
Griff tells me that he WILL NOT accept delivery of HIS returned snake!! He says that I bought it for a specific reason and not just to resell (which is true), so he wants me to KEEP the snake and maybe give him a good deal on something else in the future some time!! It's his type of people that I would send anything to, without being paid first! Honest and trustworthy to a fault!! That is a true businessman and a very understanding gentleman! I have all the respect in the world for people like that! When "our" snakes DO mate (in about two years or less)...he WILL be getting a surprize package in the post from me!! And that doesn't include anything else he might want! I "feel" I owe im big time for this! And I ALWAYS pay my debts!!

Ben Sparks....Do I have any justification to contact UPS about the demise of my SNAKE??? Or, am I only able to get the shipping fees refunded because of their screwup?? I have had a pickup account with them for years now ...I marked the box as "harmless frogs"....even though we are just talking about a neonate hogg Isl. Boa (packaged correctly!&#33... do I have ANY recourse?? ....Neil

Griff...one more thing...Even though you won't take the snake back...I will NOT take advantage of your generosity!! I do NOT consider this Male DH Snow as "mine"...I consider it on "Breeding Loan"!! One of these years...you WILL get him back, along with some of his offspring! AND my sincere appreciation and friendship!! ....Neil

Just thought I would share my experience with Griff, somewhat similar to Neil's. I ordered a DH snow male, and the whole transaction was great until the day it was supposed to arrive. Noon and no snake. 3pm and no snake. I checked my tracking number once again and to my dismay, it said Delivered. It certainly wasn't to my house, spam_the city listed for the location of delivery wasn't right, but about 25 miles away! And what makes it worse was it was signed for by LDFD, which was left on front door! I have purchased several snakes and had them shipped, and never had a problem, so I expected my number was up for a screw up. I called Airborne Express and they were trying to call the driver. I called Griff and explained what happened. Needless to say, after a lot of worrying and waiting, I had my snake by 5 pm and all was well. He made a lot of calls on his time when it was the carriers fault, and thanks to him the snake was fine and the packaging perfect. Thanks Griff! Do not hesitate to do business with this guy!
