Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

AbsoluteApril	Dream snakes have arrived! O. t. Ridleyi I have wanted to work with this species for almost 10 years, since first seeing pictures on my buddy Mike Heinrich’s website oh-so-long-ago. The entire reason I started with corn snakes was to get practice with egg-laying rat snakes in hopes one day I would be able to own and breed Ridleyi; this is now a reality! Received my Cave Dwelling Rat Snakes this AM: Introducing Ricky and Lucy! They are CBB proven breeder pair. Colors are a bit off in these photos, just some quick snapshots. Will do a proper photoshoot in a couple weeks once they are settled in. Ricky: The following pics are Lucy, she is the more colorful of the pair: Gotta be careful I don’t trip and fall off Cloud 9! thanks for looking! Who else is working with this beautiful species? P.S. I apparently haven’t been keeping up with rat snake classification, what they heck happened to the genera Elaphe? (these were called Elaphe t. Ridleyi)
