Finally something hatched!!

After a crappy leo breeding season I finally got some good news. I have a pair of gold dust day geckos that I got from "cyberfrog" from this site a few months ago. I hadn't really been expecting much but this morning while spraying, a little something bounced out and made a run for it. I thought it was a little roach that was running for its life. I took a closer look and it was a newly hatched GDDG. I also found 2 more unhatched eggs in the middle of the snake plant that was in the cage. Now if I can just get some more of those ch baby balls eating!
The picture below is an old one of their cage, it has some new plants now.

Congrats. That's pretty cool. Maybe when I open up my satanic leaftail cage a hatchling will jump out at me.

The thing that impresses me most is these eggs survived being moved from my old apartment to me new house...took about 3 days to complete the entire move and these guys handled all the jostling and temp fluctuations! I am considering the little guy/gal a house warming gift!

That’s awesome Ro, congrats! I love the color on gold dust. You need to take some pics of them… that is if you can catch them out. LOL.

Just found a 2nd hatchling climbing on the glass INSIDE one f the leopard gecko cages. It was pretty easy to spot. Good thing it is the middle of the day and the leos were sleeping! It didn't take much to get the little one in the container with his/her hatchmate. Now I have a matching set!

Very cool Ro. Good thing that second one didn't become a snack.
