I have to disagree. Steve Irwin was the man, and still is. Its sad that those kind of shows are no longer being showed and this generation of kids are missing out. I grew up with that and he is one of the reasons I love reptiles today. And I also remember a few other ones as well but I can't really remember what they were called...

When Irwin passed it opened the door for the current Science Fiction media
presented on AP.There are no high profile defenders to contend with there fore the free reign position has held a steady coarse.

I watched this show recently and was appalled. Could they use the word "yet" any more than they do now. "No one has been killed, yet."

Then there is their infamous "for now"s. Their population is isolated to the park, for now."

The moon hasn't crashed into the Earth, yet. We are safe, for now...

No kidding, this is the smut that AP is making the general public scared of reptiles. And there's no freaking need for it!!

Animal Planet...just like any other network...is trying to put "meat in the seats"
Make everything bigger than it is.
I think alot of that show has "planted" reptiles.

I am the exact same way, I watched Steve when I was 4 years old and when I was 6 I got my first corn snake and tailed him like Steve did all the hots without the croc hunter I would probably be terrified of snakes like everyone else and believe this crap Animal Planet is spewing out.
