Office Visitor

So last week I was sitting at my desk in the lovely reception area of my wonderful place of employment (barf) and I kept hearing this knocking sound on our glass front doors. I glanced over the counter and didn't see anyone and looked out my windows and still no one. Pulled up our cameras and checked the screens, no one there. I stood up and peeked down thinking it could be a cat (I saved 2 feral kittens from our warehouse at our old office a couple of years ago so I am infamous for saving anything that breathes, except bees/wasp/etc). I ended up seeing this guy/gal. Im not familiar with turtles or tortoises or anything of that nature. Anyway as i got closer to take a picture, he started to pee everywhere! and stuck his head in his shell. I called down my general manager and he picked him up and moved him away from the door and the traffic of people pulling in and out of the parking lot. Thought he was pretty cool but we don't have any bodies of water out this way that I can think of so not sure where he may have come from??

That's pretty cool. It looks like a Northern Red-bellied Turtle.
