I spotted one of the rarest snakes in the world

My wife and I recently vacationed in Antigua and I went snorkeling off of Green Island off the coast. After getting out of the water I walked up on the beach as an Antiguan Racer came out of the brush. I did not have my camera handy and before I returned with it the snake had returned to the vegetation. Despite the lack of pictures I thought this was a cool experience considering that there were once less than 100 of them left in the world. It's always nice to hear a conservation story with good success as their numbers are now upwards of 1000 individuals.
