I've been to BHB several times, to pick up purchases. (They're not far from me). All of the times I've been there, everything looked clean, and there were always a half-dozen employees there, cleaning and feeding. All of the animals I purchased were healthy, but I quarantine for at least three months, regardless of the source.
I know BHB breeds a lot of snakes at their facility. The problem is if they buy wholesale from other breeders. I don't know that for sure, but you can't control how other people maintain their facilities. With the volume of animals they move through there, I find it hard to believe they've never had any issues.
I also have to agree with Mike. I've watched a lot of "Snake-Bytes" videos, and I think Brian's gone "Hollywood", to some extent. A lot of the videos are very "sensationalized", with the dramatic theatrics with some of his larger, more aggressive snakes. I think that's sending the wrong message to some younger viewers, who may be new to the hobby.
Just my two cents as well.
