Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Ozzy
Hi everyone, I just got a young male iguana a few days ago (or well, I think its a male =p). I got him from a petshop, inwhich its plain that they really didn't to try to take care of their reptiles. He's still aggresive, but hopefully that will eb away with time. The biggest suprise I got out of him though, was that he ate the first night he was put in his new cage. Hope they don't starve the poor iggy's up there....
Anyway, heres a picture of him.....er....before he decided he didn't like the camera to much

Yay! Bout time you finally posted.....
Thats a really good pic, BTW. Yeah...they didnt take care of their animals to well, even though they had a huge selection of animals to choose from. For example, They had this Cuban Night anole in there, which had a spider in its cage! x.x
But now "Ozzy" has a chance for a better life, thanks to you.
Love ya,
Britt

Better start handling him now or you will end up with a 4 footer with an attitude.

don't worry...Ozzy gets lots of attention from me...even if he isn't exactly friendly at the moment, hopefully he will warm up to me
and...a four footer with an attitude sounds like an extremely snoody pre-teen...instead of an agitated iggy O_o

4 footer, haha, males usually reach lengths of up to 5 1/2 to 6 1/12 feet,
that ig looks pretty healthy for a petstore iguana, i would suggest a fecal though, if you havne not already done that, most of the igs at pet stores come from large facilities in south america, and they are almost always infested in parasites, plus they are(most of the time) extremely stressed out from being packed into a thin box with 50-60 other babys in the same bag, since he/she ate the first night, thats a pretty good sign
they also are not sexable until at least 2 years of age, so dont get your hopes up on a certain sex as of yet, get ready for a long life with the ig, and always remember that they need more attention, and responsibility than most any other herp, i've been keeping iggies for over 12 years, and they are NOT beginner reptile, my oldest pair passed away last february, the male was 13 and the female was 11, they were huge fat igs and i miss em more than any other passed herp i have had, so, treat yours well and good luck with the little fella
