Certificate Error

Seeing this on my browser whenever I click a link or open a brand new page on this site. Very annoying.

I just recently started a new style of advertising campaign outside of Google Adsense on a trial basis, so perhaps that has introduced the problem you are experiencing.

Anyone else getting odd things happening with their browsers?

That was on my work browser (IE). Eventually the cert errors stopped and I did see an ad, so the problem was likely on the ad's side.

At home I have Chrome with the uBlock add-on so I'm not seeing any ads on the bottom of the browser window.

Getting errors on Chrome with my desktop pc. Was about to ask about it on Rich Z's Blatherings on cornsnakes.com haha!

But I came here on chrome mobile and seems to work fine that way.

Desktop pc shows:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of request header field exceeds server limit.

I noticed this yesterday too, weird!

If I remember correctly, that sort of error happens when the cached copy of this site retained either in your browser or your ISP needs to be refreshed and you are trying to recall that old page to your browser. Sometimes closing down the browser gets rid of it. Other times I have had to clear the cookies on my machine to correct the problem.

I am using FireFox myself. Well most of the time, anyway. I think every browser has it's own quirks.

I do see I have an update to do on the chrome desktop browser, I'll try that and see how it goes! 🙂 Forgot about that while I've been working today.

Blah, that did not do it. I tried coming on here via Google search which links the site, but same issue. Cleared my cookies too. No biggie though, I may just need to use a different browser then while I'm working haha!

Turns out I needed to search for the specific Fauna cookies, once I cleared those it got things back working again.

Just fyi in case you needed closure from me
