Vacation (4 pics)

Well, vacation time has finally arrived! Me and the hubby are heading out to the land of sin - VEGAS! We hope to have a lot of fun, blow off some steam, and (crossing fingers) bring back a little money.

I know, the odds are against us, but I can't help daydreaming about all the gecko stuff I would get if we win a bit!

This is the first time I've left my crew in the hands of anyone but myself, and I'm a bit nervous! She's a friend, and had a leo a few years ago. Still....

They should all do just fine as they are currently all fat and happy.

Lady Luck (my 13th gecko!) is still so tiny that she's really the only one I'm worried about. She's a mere 12g. I guess that's not terribly small, she's just my smallest!

World - Meet Lady Luck!

And just for fun, I thought I would throw in a pic of another lucky gecko of mine - Lost! She's now 27g and still looks FANTASTIC! Her colors are so bright, I can't wait to she what she'll produce.

Remember this? This is a day or two after I got her - just 6g!

And just look at her now...

I'm gonna miss them while I'm gone! My little gecko buddies.

Part of that is the lighting - it's actually just a bit more pink. She's still one terrific little gecko!

I'm back now (just got in a few hours ago), and I'm very happy to say it looks like all my babies are fine. They all made a HUGE mess in their tubs while I was gone - running laps or something! I did lose a beta, but it was looking sick when I left, so I'm not too surprised.

Vegas was tons of fun, but I'm glad to be home. Over all, I ended up $160 down for the whole week (not bad if you ask me). I was, however, the QUEEN of winning random crap! Before our flight even hit the ground in Vegas I won 2 tickets to "Momma Mia" (worth $220) by guessing the weight of the plane before take off. I was off by 400 lbs. - which is less than 1% off! I also won 2 tickets to another show ($110), an LED flashlight (?), a hand-held trivia game ($10?), 2 free meals, and a buy-one-get-one-free for yet another show ($35). So if you take all of that into account, I'm actually ahead by a good deal.

I'm a bit jet-lagged right now, so that's all I can think to say right now. Hi everybody! I'm back!

So technically you're a winner because of all the stuff you won adding up to the $160 loss right? hehehe

I'm glad to hear that your trip went well and that your leos are still doing ok (told you they'd be fine! ) Sorry about the loss of the beta though, even though it seemed sick.

Take care and have fun cleaning the babies' tubs!!
