how to kill fruit fly larva in a wound

As it says my gargs have fought once again and I thought I had all the larva out but I see one or 2have tiny ones in there I've been adding neosporin every other day what else can I do

Could u soak them and leave there head above water.maybe it would drown them out

Also one other thought how about rubbing alcohol? I know it would burn for a bit but should that kill them off?

No, it will really hurt your animal. You should really take your animals to a vet if they are getting wounds that maggots infest. They can give you the proper cream medication to apply to the wound, which will likely keep the larvae out of the wounds.

No vets any where close to here for reps there coming from the gecko diet over night

Also there's alot of people on here who have the same problem with fruit flys

Just so everyone knows, *most* fly larvae only eat dead tissue, so the presence of maggots will not hurt your animal, it's just a sign of poor wound care by the keeper. In fact, sterile maggots are frequently used in hospitals to treat burn victims, or any injury that could cause an abundance of dead tissue that could interfere with healing (like a spider or snake bite).
