Anyone use it? If you do what kind?

I do not use any substrate with any species other than those of the rhampholeon or brookesia genus. It's just a recipe for disaster in most cases. I have seen and heard of people using good clean topsoil with chams but I personally prefer PVC board for the bottom of all my cages. Easy to clean and very light weight.

Usually,

I just line the bottoms of my reptariums with newspaper as it's the quickest to change, doesn't cost you a dime, and the chams don't mind a bit. Besides, the cleaner you keep your cage the less problems will arise in the future, and changing newspaper out of a cage only takes moments. Investing a few moments in changing cages and keeping them clean every few days is the best way to protect your investments in your chams, so I opt for the easiest effective way to do so. -Eric Lago *MS Reptilian Hobbyists*
