Apologies to the mod for continuing the conversation in this thread, but trying to buy or sell any illegal species should be actively discouraged.
They are only legal to have in your possession if the snakeheads are
dead, as they were intentionally introduced to Florida by oriental immigrants, who consider the fish a delicacy. There is a significant illegal trade in snakeheads in the USA, and these possession laws are rigorously enforced. No live snakeheads are allowed in your possession, although you are allowed to capture, kill, and eat any snakeheads you catch.
