Neosporin

Is it ok to put neosporin on a snake head scrape. He got his head stuck inbetween the rack and tub and now its a pink spot on his head. So, will neosporin help him, or should I do something else. I feel so bad for him. And I had to fish the rack so he doesn't do that again.

It's ok for a day or so as long as it's the kind without painkiller.

For larger wounds that need long-term antiseptic either dilute a bit of iodine in water and use a q-tip to clean the wound, or apply Vetericyn gel, which you can find for sale on Amazon.
