Newest guy, Tarzan

I call him that just in case the Jungle proves to be present. If not, he'll do just fine like he is. DH Lipstick Sunglow, Poss Jungle from Katie Mrkvicka. He's still in quarantine, but I noticed he was sporting a little color lately, so I took a few shots.

Kinda pretty ain't he. He's only 7 months old too. Can't wait until he grows. Might have to pair him with Lucy.

Thanks for looking! And thank you Katie!

Nice! Looks like you have a pretty good chance of him being a jungle, but I am far from an expert. I should have two different litters of jungles this year. I guess I should study up. lol Good luck

Thanks Dennis. I don't know much about them either. Once you add the hypo, things change a bit it seems. Maybe I'll put him to a straight up albino instead of a Sunglow to see what happens with the normals.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I love my jungles, but throw in the hypo gene and I can't pick 'em anymore. Even though it would be easier to prove his being a jungle by breeding him to a normal albino, the possibilities that could come from breeding him with Lucy have to make it hard to go against that plan! They're both gorgeous animals!

Yeah Tere, he ain't turning out too bad. Kinda looking forward to about the end of next year when his adult colors start coming in.

He'll do.

My thoughts exactly. LOL Lucy won't be ready for a couple more years yet, maybe 3, since I grow my animals slow. My Albino will be 7-8 yrs by then.

Thanks for the comps!

Me likey tarzan!!!

I know it's so hard to tell, esp with the hypo in the mix, but he could be a jungle, he's got the redish eyes.

Of course, I have a hypo that was from a poss jungle that I was told didn't prove out, but she still shows a couple of the 'jungle-ish' traits anyways, the gene is so funky.

That's why I've avoided Jungles thus far. It's a trait I just don't fully understand. But I did need some diversity, and I got a hell of a deal on him, so here he is. LOL

Thanks for the nice replies!
