Need Advice on Feeding Neonate Sistrurus Miliarius Miliarius
An adult female Dusky I recently purchased is looking pretty gravid, and the guy I bought her from said she was copulating last fall.
I think she is going to spill out a bunch of little ones.
How (what) do I feed those tiny little guys? Does anyone have any experience with neonate pigmies? Can anyone point me to pages with this type of info?
You can try bugs. Little crickets and pieces of nightcrawler have been accepted. Lizard tails and pinky parts can also be tease-fed. Make sure the crickets have a source of food and water other than chewing on the tender baby snakes, and check on them often.
