$450 shipped.
I have two F2 captive bred instahatch eggs; Sicilian Western Hermann’s, Madonie locale. They were laid on 3/26/19 by stud book female 2-1232 (new stud book). This female’s egg hatch out around day 57-60. I will be shipping these the week of 5/20/19.
What is an Insta-Hatch egg?
An Insta-Hatch egg is an egg that is 100% fertile and days away from hatching. The egg is candled and documented through out incubation to confirm that it is developing properly. The egg is shipped 10 days before its predicted hatch date. Based on our experience and knowledge we make the judgment call on when the egg is ready to ship. We use the percentage of airsac that remains in the egg to predict when the best time to ship is.
We ship in a novel way that protects the egg from being damaged. Since we have started shipping insta-hatch tortoise eggs, we have shipped over 70 eggs with a 98% success rate. Only one marginated instahatch egg did NOT hatch. I have shipped four Sicilian western Hermann’s, Madonie locale. All four hatched successfully with a 100% success rate. The average amount of days that Madonie eggs have hatched from day of delivery is 4.23 days. The average distance these four eggs have traveled to different locations is 525 miles.
*you need to supply your own incubator that can get up to 88F and 60-80% humidity. I recommend hovobator 1602N.
*for every egg purchased from Tortstork, we donate $10 to a turtle/tortoise conservation group in your name. You will receive an email from that conservation group confirmining the donation.
