Well my sister after deciding that goldfish were not for her decided to go with something different but still easy to take care of. The platies. We started out with two named Howie and Sheldon, Sheldon was a sunset wag and Howie's morph I do not know. All I know is he was light blue with dark blue stripes, a yellow dorsal fin, and his back fin was dark orange. Well as we later found out Sheldon was a girl and had many fry. Sadly only one carried on the true wag color and none had the paternal line color. I have sexed them all, all girls besides one male. And Sheldon and Howie are now in a better place.
I decided to see what color morphs I could get with the only wag offspring and a biazzare mixture of orange male. The male who usually lies next to the divider at night, really hasnt done any "dancing" with the wag. They kinda swim around but nothing more. Will this match work or should I just give it more time. I hasnt been too long about a week or so.
O and below are some bad pictures of some of the now grown fry. They are quite a transparent orange, not the prettiest things but my sister loves em.
They all look like this with a few different details, besides the dark orange wag of course.
Thanks,
Any help will be much appreicated!
