In excellent weather, 2-day FedEx shipping with LAG is available. In poor weather or other problematic circumstances, in order to provide LAG, we may ask you to pick up your package at the nearest FedEx hub. We prefer to ship when temperatures are between 32F and 90F, but with modern packaging techniques and overnight shipping, we can ship almost any week of the year. After shopping cart checkout, we will email you to confirm availability, establish ship date and shipping address, and discuss special shipping arrangements. Live arrival is guaranteed with overnight delivery. LAG requires signature-confirmed delivery on the first attempt or hold-for-pickup less than 6 hours. In the event of a death on arrival (DOA), photographic evidence of the dead specimen is required within 2 hours of signature or pickup, with a pin placed through the specimen’s carapace. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for carrier errors or unpacking mishaps. A confirmed DOA results in spider cost refund less shipping.
