Hoping things go for the better with this pairing. Kinda hoping for a bunch of female pastels... I've got one now but... you can never have enough female pastels...
Here's how I found my girl today at lunch... She looks like she honestly is getting ready to lay. I feel pretty confident about it. Her last third of her body is very round and very firm. Even in this picture you can just see there's suppose to be some eggs under her in the way that she's postured herself.
I'm really excited and this is my first breeding ever and I can't wait to see what comes out of it. Next year will be even better when my female pastel and reduced female are ready! I'll also have a het pied male ready to go as well that I think I'll couple with another female pastel to go for some pastel het pieds...
