Green tree monitor enclosure - too big?

Heya guys

i am looking to set-up a green tree monitor enclosure and have a chance to buy this for about $200:

It is 84x36x29 and the green tree monitor will only be about 12 inches. Is this too big for the juvie/babie, and will it be sufficient for an adult.

Also is there too much ventilation in it (i can always work on that, it has chicken wire on top, rest is plexiglass/glass)

I think buying this and upgrading/changing the inside will be cheaper than buying a brand new 1k+ cage and im not good at building em. Bonus is, it already has recessed lightning. I believe it housed an iguana.

Any input is welcome!

Thanks!

Hello

I looks fine for a baby tree maybe, but you will need something bigger as he gets older in my opinion. It looks like an altered display case, I personally wouldn't purchase it but that's just me. I'm pretty certain you can find something better for half the price if your are patient and looks hard enough on craislist or other online resources(or even local places around you). They have tons of display units on their now that you can buy for half the price and with a few monifications be 100X better.

I've found amazing stuff for crazy prices on craislist, you just have to keep looking. I found this jworlds.net enclosure online for $100 and they even delivered it to my house and helped put it together (even came with a huge waterfall and sump pump). Granted it wasnt perfect, but it was only $150 delivered.

Good Luck,
