Tiny runt boa

This little boy came from my litter that had a full chain link albino in it.It was 3-5 weeks premature. There were only 3 boa's in the litter and a lot of slugs!!
The female was bred by a male that had already done one female just weeks before. "Lesson learned."

The one full term looking boa was a hypo het albino male and is perfect.
This little guy just ate its first live meal today and was a bit big for him.(1 day old pink rat) and i was relieved. I would have hated to see him not make it. He does have a cranial issue it looks. He has a small lump where the soft spot on a child would be. Any opinions?
He is very active, likes to be handled.
He was about 1/3 the size of any of my other baby boa's.

Good looking little guy for sure, please be very patient with him
as it will be a pretty touchy road during its first year.

I think i should get some frozen pink mice instead of the pink rat. What do you think Tommy? That bulge is from today's meal as stated above.

When he finishes digesting his meal i will post some good pics showing color and his circle tail. No ladder tail. All circles down his back and tail.

I was worried that he might not be able to digest the meal. When he was born he had a big ole egg yolk still. It fell apart when i moved him to his shoe box and i cut off his cord a bit. But i keep it clean.

Can everyone see my big red square on this ad?? lol. Something new i guess.

That huge lump on it's head is odd. It definitely looks vicious. (the lump)

IMO(which aint much) I wouldnt feed that guy for a least another 4 weeks
and really let that feeding soak in.His digestive system is just as premature
as he is,if this feeding doesnt kill him move to a mouse pink then 3-4 weeks
offer another mouse pink.
If you have scales track his weight before every feed and you will see mass increase before you see length, then youll know things are clicking right along.
