Thank you everyone.
Nice to meet you.
I think leopard gecko can live up 20 years as long you take good care of them.

most that aren't breed excessively like most people do to their poor leos could live 20 years. But most people treat their geckos like money machines and try and squeeze up to 20 eggs a year out of them.

Nice looking girl you have there ! Welcome to Fauna !

Honestly Vince most people ? Cmon now , I bred a Gecko one time this year and she went on to lay 22 eggs all by herself .And this was her first time . LOL

Once they breed , they are on their own ,even in the wild , and will lay as many as their body will permit . Dependent on health , care , fat reserve , and calcium of course . Pretty sure they do not 'cool' themselves so they stop laying . But some breeders will 'cool' their own Leos to give them an early break from laying .

There is nothing special you can do to excessively breed a Leo , except for force a second season , and i just dont think "most people" would do that to their Gecko .

sarcasm >OK please excuse me , i have females that just laid theyre last clutches that i need to breed again allready because they just look too damn fat and healthy right now for my taste < sarcasm
