The way I've kind of built my collection at this point is to have the ability to create really powerful base animals; non-high end morphs that can be put to high end morphs and boost the marketability and demand for said high end morphs, if that makes sense.
The ultimate goal is just to be able to make the most stupid colorful normals or hypos possible, but I am also dabbling with anery projects, albinos and a few other things. However, generally, if it cannot boost color, I am not interested in it.
My main point in posting those for you William is that, in most instances, selective breeding is where it starts. Color and cleanliness is pretty much always in demand. If someone is breeding run of the mill Aztecs and they put them up for sale next to someone who is selling Aztecs exploding with colors/that are incredibly clean, odds are, the animals exploding with color/are incredibly clean are going to be the most desirable because there is more potential in what the buyer can do with those animals later on.
