Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Blue Tail on Fattail???????
I have been noticing a blueish tint creeping up the tail from the tip and was wondering if it has happened with anyone else??? Is this normal for hatchlings?? Out of the 7 fattails that we have hatched so far, this one and his clutchmate both have varying degrees of blue present and so far are the only ones to display this..When they hatched all was normal, so this is something that is developing..Attached are some photos of the one male that displays this more dominantly.. Any feedback would be appreciated

The blue seems to cover the 2 white bands and it also covers the 2 dark bands. Actually the dark bands when combined with the blue color makes them look like a midnight blue..Last night I also remember seeing ,at one time, that one of my breeders had a sliver of blue on her tail ( I did'nt think much of it then). I'll have to check her when I get home tonight and also to see if these hatchlings came from her..

Very cool! Maybe you can produce an 'all-blue' Fattie before R.T. produces a blue Leo!

Its probably just varicose veins, just like what Tremper thought was blue coloration on the leos.

Well, it's something I'm going to have to keep an eye on. The only differences I see with my situation compared with R.T. is I have this being expressed in a set of clutchmates, not a single animal. Also the mother of the 2 may also be expressing the trait( I'll know tonight). R.T. also say's in his book that his Leo hatched with that spot, mine is slowly developing the blue with every shed ( it hatched with no blue present).....

Well I checked to see who the cluch belonged to and it is from the female that I had seen some traces of blue on... Only right now due to breeding her colors have faded and since it was only a trace of blue it may not show up in a photo . Her next clutch is due to hatch in the next 10 days, so I'll have to see what develops with these. I might be chasing nothing here but it will be fun to see what happens. I'll keep everyone updated!!!!!
