I had to give up my flock for personal and "flock" reasons. No, they weren't getting aggressive with me. They were sweet as pie and that didn't change. They were cage-free and a very lovely flock that got along.
However, life sometimes throws us curves that we have to try and hit out of the park. That said, because my flock is gone, I missed having someone around to spoil (do not suggest that I have my grandchildren over more often
)
Without further ado (still nameless) Here is my newest friend:
I've been calling her Sugarbear, but the name doesn't seem to fit...so I'm not all that attached to it.
She's a Ragdoll and lives up to her reputation. However, because in her previous home, she was chased by their dog, she seems to have a tendency to hide when scared. I resolved that by buying her the two tall cat trees (one upstairs and one downstairs). She jumps on one of those when frightened instead of hiding under my bed.
She follows me everywhere and sleeps at the foot of my bed (I don't ask her too..she just seems to come in when she feels like it).
