My adult leopard Gecko ate probably 7 waxworms and then threw them up and then re-ate them, is this something that she needs to see a vet specialist for?
Wax worms are high in fat, etc. They are good to use, for weight gain (on a too skinny gecko), but, otherwise, should only be used as a treat rather than as a regular diet.
Could be that they did not set well with your gecko.
Switch its diet, to something more suitable (mealworms, small Dubia, etc.), and feed every other day.
If your gecko regurges, again, I would recommend taking her to a vet. Tests may be in order, at that time, as well.
Thanks it was just the one time and yes I put too many waxworms in her bowl since I had run out of dubia and crickets. She has not done it again and ate about 4 large crickets earlier. Thank you for answering
