Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

creosote bush
Can someone point me to a place that sells sees or can someone in the sw possibly collect some and send them to me. I have a few desert iggys that would love a snack.

these guys are probably the best nursery in Phoenix. Currently they only have creosote bushes in 5 gallon pots. they'd have to be shipped with heat packs because the cold right now would kill them. However, if you call their glendale store, and ask for Heather from Brooklyn towards the end of February, they should have them in 1 gallon size, along with some other native desert type plants that your iggies would also like. they don't ship cross country, but maybe you could work something out.

From what I've read and heard from others, creostote bushes are pretty hard to keep alive outside of their native habitat. I've also heard from people, who grow them in outdoor pens with their lizards, that they are a food of last resort. They eat them in the desert because they don't have much of a choice. In captivity, they prefer their gourmet salads
