Cornsnake hatchling problem.

So I had an employee who got over zealous while I was not there and some of our hatchlings cut out of the egg and was staying there to absorb the yolk. He helped them out of the egg. I know its important they absorb the sack. My question is..is it essential. I'm nervous I will lose this whole clutch. Will they stand a chance of survival without absorbing the full sack.

Depending, some could perish. However, it is possible for hatchlings to survive without absorbing the entire yolk.
As you appear to know, it is best that they do absorb the entire yolk, and leave the egg on their own, for a much better survival rate.
Do the babies have any umbilical cords still attached? If so, place those babies on damp paper towels, make sure it stays clean, and the umbilical should fall off within days or up to a week. Then, just keep an eye on its belly to make sure it is closing up and looking good.
Hope your employee knows better, to not do that, now.

Yes the umbilical cord is still attached. I put him in a deli cup with damp paper towels. Im hoping I took the proper steps and I'm hoping they survive and trust me my employee knows better now..

One problem you may have is that if the animal tries to crawl and that umbilical cord gets hung up on something, it could pull the intestines right out of the snake. That, of course, would not be good.
