Scale Rot in GTP???

I just received him the mail I showed pictures to the breeder but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Is this scale rot? I have never seen it before so I would have 0 idea if it was. I'm afraid I really like him.

The discoloration is unusual, but proper diagnosis and treatment can really only be done by a qualified vet. You should be aware that waiting will really only make cases of infection/illness worse and more difficult to treat. As such, I highly recommend finding and scheduling a vet appointment.

An added benefit for this is that, should the GTP really be ill, it will give you a better standpoint to argue with the breeder to have a diagnosis from a vet (with paperwork to back it).
