As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

UTH losing its "sticky"
One of my UTH seems to be losing it's "sticky", only about half of it seems to want to stay stuck on the bottom of the enclosure. Is there any way to renew the stickiness, or does this mean I have to go out and buy a new one?? Seems a waste when it still heats fine, but I guess it's pointless if it's ony warming half of the area it's intended to warm...
Any ingenious solutions??

naw just go get some either electrical tape or foil tape and tape it along the edges

I've done that as well as use some Scotch permanent double-sided tape between the pad and the tank. Just make sure the tank (or whatever you're sticking it to) is REALLY clean. Rubbing alcohol seems to work well to rid the tank of any residue that might inhibit good stickage. I put the double sided tape on the tank First, and then attach the semi-sticky pad. It seems to work better for whatever reason. Hope it helps
