Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I don't know of many 16 year olds that have the experience to handle a burmese or a retic.
I don't want to sound like a jerk, but you should really think twice about taking on such large snakes. A man in Ohio was recently killed by an 11' burmese python. And that's not even what many would consider to be large.

Chris
No offense meant but that is like saying you have shot yourself 27 times so you know how to handle a gun. Lose the chip on your shoulder and I think you will find that most here are more than willing to help. Take a run through the TOS and get the feel of things before you jump in with both feet

I hate to say anything, but you said you were looking for adult burms or retics, well 8ft is like a yearling when your talking about these kinds of animals, what are you going to do in 3 years when the burm is 15ft and over 100lbs,and the retic is 16-18ftand around 150lbs?? No matter how expeirienced you are it takes 2-3 people to handle these animals safely.
And as far as your 27 bites, your not supposed to get bit! And yes i have been bitten, but i've been doing this 27yrs!!!
Dont give up on your search. but be prepaired to take care of these monster,s and every thing that comes with them, Big food, big cages, lots of heat,{bigger pythons are touchy when it comes to temp.}, and of course your great dane or rotteweiler dont have nothing on these guys when it comes to poopin', you'll find out, Good luck,

^ I agree 100% with this post!! They are not the easiest of snakes to work with... honestly they are among the top teire of snakes to handle, along with things like rattle snakes, cobras, and so on.
if you want something to be close to 8' get an adult ball Python, or something like that. they have a great temprement (usually) and yea they dont usually reach 8', but they are not remotely dangerous like the burmese/retic...
