Ok, I'll spell it out.

Ed said he was willing to come come up, and check out the facility, after the offer to do such was made.

I am not sticking up for the the guy, but that seems like a reasonable proposition.

I don't know if he is a scammer, or not.

What I am getting at, is that he offered to meet you in person, and neither one of you had the balls to do it.

If memory serves, Chris has always been reasonable in his responses here, and the invitation to stop by his facility was made last year when the fuss started. (Initially, there was some concern that Chris might have been somebody else.)

Perhaps I misread Ed's statement - he asked if I was interested in making a roadtrip, but I didn't read any implication of it being the two of us going.

Regardless, if you think that my not having the time, interest, or inclination to spend 12 hrs on the road to go look at ball pythons means that I don't don't have the balls, well...so be it. Time is a premium commodity in my world.

I asked the question I did because Chris was a person without much (if any) reptile experience when he purchased a large quantity of gravids last year. If you read the various comments in the current threads, you will see some people claiming that the gravids do well after they lay; while others tell of how poorly they do. I was curious how Chris made out with his, as a relative newcomer.

Damint Harold, you have to learn to read minds better!

I was suggesting we both take a road trip to visit with Chris at his place. I thought upstate NY was all around Buffalo/ Niagra Falls area. 12 hours....dont blame you for not wanting to take that ride.

How about if I buy you some real buffalo wings there?

It's only about 6 hours each way, lol, but it still equates to a lost day. I'm near Albany...I think that puts you just about as far from me, as Chris is.

Are You Considering Making Other Animals Glow?
Yes, we are also working on rats, hamsters, gerbils, ball pythons, and other animals.
Good freaking lord. Just what the world needs.

Fair enough. Maybe we could all meet in Toronto?

Look at his website - he's calling normal ball pythons genetic stripes.

I suppose he's too busy with all of his genetic experiments to bother with making sure that all of the information given there is correct.

I got a chuckle out of this one -

Mojaves lack brown, gold, and yellow coloration. They are an absolutely beautiful snake and often have a faded appearance.
If you took all of the browns, golds, and yellows away from a Mojave, what color would they be?

I have extended the following offer to Ed (below), and it is available for anyone that wishes to make an appointment to come visit. Once again there is not one unhappy customer that has posted in Fauna or otherwise after a year of good business in the reptile industry. Despite all the assumptions, commentary, etc., I have run a reputable and worthwhile business without one complaint.

I was declared a 'liar' about the GM animal issue, and yet through your own research you disclosed the issue that I did want to become a public spectacle at this time, which simply proved I was NOT lying. However, ultimately this wasn't even mentioned, simply more negativity regarding peoples disagreement with GM animals. That seems to be the Fauna BOI standard behavior. I tried calling and reaching out to others who posted in the past few days to clear the issue up in person over the phone, and no one would even do me that courtesy.

With regards to the GM animals I even had a PM conversation where the response is that the person didn't want to talk about a private explanation.
(regarding NeonMice).

My Response:
I do not want a public record of what you are asking me to speak about, but I will explain it to you out of courtesy. I can very easily prove that what I said was quite true.

The worst case scenario is that after talking to me, you say that you don't believe me and make a stink about it. At the very least if you truly feel what your saying is true, at least talk to me about it so I can prove my point definitively.

My response:

If you have the gumption to make rude commentary and accusations towards me, at least be adult enough to confront me about it on the phone. The latter is cowardly and unbecoming of a respectful person.

PM Sent To ED:

If you wish to come visit our facility you are more than welcome. I would prefer that SOMEONE credible comes to visit to clear everything up in person.

Please let me know if/and/or when you are able to come up and I'll be happy to oblige with a tour.

The address:

2045 Niagara Falls Blvd. St. 13
Niagara Falls, NY 14304

my phone # is 716 984 6520.

On a side note: I already responded to the 118 page thread regarding the old issues that keep re-surfacing on this new thread. It appears that nothing shy of a reputable person coming and visiting in person will be an adequate response. With regards to the GM animals, it is still an issue I don't wish to comment about in a public forum, but if you come in person I will be happy to show you around the lab (small), our rodent breeding room, snake breeding room, warehouse, etc. to proof that I was not lying about the GM animals.

thanks,

Chris"

If anyone has any genuine and factual data about my sales of animals to others in the industry being a problem I am ALL EARS. Otherwise, I do not think any response I can offer, regardless of the factual supporting data will be treated in an adult and respectful manner, thus it is meaningless to respond through the forum, but rather is only effective in person.

As I told you in email -- no one really cares about your top secret GM project -- if you are creating GID regular balls -- you should be hanged -- it's bad enough they do it for fancy pet mice -- can you imagine the stress it would cause a snake to be frickin glowing for someones sick enjoyment.

But that's neither here nor there -- why don't you offer up some explanation on your continued lies and deceptions about the animals themselves?
