Arizona Herper Reporting In!

Hey Everyone!

I actually joined this site some time ago but didn't get around to posting anything until now. I've owned reptiles previously but none currently due to my living situation (unless my backyard geckos count!). I'm really into ball pythons, western hognoses and pretty much all kinds of geckos (gargoyles and leopards are my favorites). I've been lurking in the BOI and the classifieds but I look forward to discussing all kinds of reptiles with you guys!

Welcome to the forum! I experienced backyard geckos on a week-long work trip to Arizona. I loved them. I'd just sit and watch them. <3

They're really useful! I have pretty much no bugs around my house and I've never seen a bug indoors.

The various lizards in my little slice of Az must be total slackers, compared to those in Phoenix; this place is practically overrun with black beetle-like things and ants.

Well they're no match for the palo verde beetles but otherwise they do a good job. I think it's because there are just SO many. I find new babies all the time and my dog has found numerous shells.
