Edit button?

I was just curious as to why the edit button in the forums was taken off? I really liked being able to edit my posts because of typos and what not. Thanks.

The edit button is only visible in those forums where editing of the messages is allowed here. I have to admit, though, that I haven't checked to make sure that the editing permissions are correct in all forums, so let me know where it is you don't see it and I will check it out.

Well the leopard gecko, gecko, bearded dragon forums just to name a few we aren’t allowed to edit. I quickly browsed through the forums and it looks like all the lizard, snake and general forums can’t be edited along with all the sub forums.

I checked the permissions tables for those forums. All of the discussion forums can be edited only by Contributors. This is one of those membership level enhancements I have been talking about lately.

Question

Is there a certain amount that is the least amount you can donate to become a contributing member? I want to donate, but poor college students are on a budget like eveyone else, lol. Thanks.

The cost to become a Contributing Member is $25. I understand your plight, but I had to set the limit somewhere.
