Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I would try 3 ccs at least every 2 hours, and keep her lights on so she can digest. Just mix a little at a time and throw out each time what she does not take. Hydration is key right now- nutrition is next- and the baby food will help with this. has she drank when you bathed her? Good luck and keep us posted. B

Thank you this is what I was looking for. He drank a little, I will keep you posted.. I am not feeding mealworms because he will not take any bugs or worms at all. I stated that I had them..

Let us know what the vet says
I hope that he pulls through this for you....Let us know how things are going and how we can help. I think Anna was trying to let you know that mealworms are not good for beardies at all, little, big, it doesn't matter. They have "chitin" in their exoskeletons and are very hard for beardies to digest. This can be the cause of impaction in many beardies. Take good care & keep us posted. B
Staple insects for beardies are crix, roaches, and silkworms. Anything else are just treats. never feed mealworms.

Mix in some acidophilus and bee pollen (royal jelly) into the slurry mix. These will replace gut flora and increase appetite. If he still won't eat you might ask your vet about some B complex. Here's my slurry recipe
1 part Repcal Juvie pellets (grind up)
1 part veal babyfood
enough pedialite to make it kinda soupy
nuke it for 30 sec
add more pedialite if you need to
sprinkle in your Ca, Vits, Acidophilus, Royal jelly, meds, etc.
suck it up in a syringe and feed.

Hello
Hello,
Another thing that I recommend is to keep the basking temps under 110 so you don't expedite dehydration further.
Great job. I hope he improves for you & keep us posted.

I would keep the temps right about 110 actually. Heat stimulates the digestive system and will probably make him want to eat more. If you are soaking him in warm water everyday (which you should be) and are force feeding him the mixture Sean posted, keep the temps around 110-115. Make sure you have a reptisun 10.0 bulb that is less than 6 months old.

Hello
Hello!
Oh poor guy! Your male has not gone to the bathroom yet? Geez, how long will he hold it for? I hope soon so you can get those tests run for me.
Thanks!
So you have some babies hatching out huh? Are you excited?
Keep us posted on everything.
Can your rescue move his back legs very well? I hope that he has not been injured, or perhaps he could be impacted prior to you getting him. Probably just overall bad care. I know you can get him healthy.
