Lots of Peters Banded Skinks have recently shown up. The logistics in getting these to an export location are tremendous, and over 3,000KM of a trip just to get to that point. Not counting the trip to the states!
It is crucial you get established healthy animals! We have a few super good, and healthy, feeding, Skinks available. We imported these ourselves, and have no cherry pickers picking the best ones out first.
We have only a few for sale. We have more, but the ones for sale now are eating, doing good, and spunky. Not your typical laid back, never move imports.
THEY ARE OMNIVOROUS. If you actually took the time to set them up, and actually hand feed them, you will know they LOVE strawberries, melon, bananas. I assume Mangos and papaya (Ill feed that to them tommorow).
They also love crickets. They use their tongues in a way to "lick". They vigorously lick fruit juices off your fingers, and plates. THEY ARE ALSO NOCTURNAL. They wake up and scurry around impressively at night. During the day, they are pretty much sleeping. Usually under aspen/mulch mix by the heat lamp.
It is CRUCIAL you get them healthy. They are not gonna be around for long. The logistics, and costs are enormous, and too many dealers complaining to the exporters about quality.
