An Officer and a Gentleman

Bicentennial Man....damn!! It has been a while since I have seen it, but it was one of those movies that I was not expecting to like and came away very glad that I rented it.

"They're not that different from you, are they? Same haircuts. Full of hormones, just like you. Invincible, just like you feel. The world is their oyster. They believe they're destined for great things, just like many of you, their eyes are full of hope, just like you. Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives even one iota of what they were capable? Because, you see gentlemen, these boys are now fertilizing daffodils. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary."

Yeah, Bicentennial Man started out slow, but I am glad I watched the whole thing, and then over and over. Really made me think (what little I can do of it).

This was a movie I wasn't too sure I would like either.

"The one thing I am proudest of my whole life, is that you were happy with me. If I couldn’t, if couldn’t tell you that I was unhappy sometimes, because I didn’t want to risk hurting the one person I treasure most. I’m so sorry."

Shall we Dance

Because I haven't gone half way to Heaven and she has no way of reaching me. I know it sounds crazy.
