Precision Caging...

Has anybody here used Precision caging, if so what do/did you think?  I am thinking of purchasing a few myself and was looking for some feedback, the stuff looks great and is priced right.  Thanks for any help/feedback you all can provide!

 I purchased a 48" cage from Precision about 2 months ago. The cage is working out alright. In hindsight I'd be happier to have a heat panel installed rather than heating the cage via the light socket that comes installed with the cage. Also modifications need to be made to insert a prbe for a thermostat. In all fairness, I have NOT contacted the vendor with my concerns. He therefore has not had the opportunity to possibly alter the way in which he provides heating. If I were to get more cages from him, I would ask about the possibility of having the cage altered.
   If you are handy, this cage gives you quite a bang for your buck!  Perhaps if you are not able to make these alterations yourself, he may be able to accomodate your wishes when assembling your cages.
  All in all though, I am satisfied!!

I agree with the first post - it's a lot of cage for the buck - but I would like to spam_heat it differently. spam_Again, it's not Precision's fault - I never asked.

I purchased the small lizard cage and it works great. spam_He was a little tough to get ahold of, but part of that I blame on my anxiety over not ordering over the net very much. spam_

most cage &nbsp;you can get for the money.
I have one...I plan on buying A LOT MORE.
For heating....right know I use a heating pad plus the light fixture inside. spam_In the future I plan on installing flexwatt on all of them........ spam_

the cages.. Plus the flexwatt and thermostats would all still be cheaper than buying any other cage.

Just an update.

I e-mailed Lovell Romans about the concerns.

1. &nbsp;I asked about limiting the number of vents for the reptiles that need a higher humidity.
A) &nbsp;He said all we have to do is call and let him know upon ordering.

2. &nbsp;I asked about heating options. &nbsp;I told him we would probably be willing to pay extra.
&nbsp;A) &nbsp;He said it would be easier if we installed the heat tape ourselves.....Because everyone has a different preference on the placement of the heat tape as well as the brand &nbsp;ie: Mylar, flexwatt, heating pad...etc...etc... &nbsp;(I agree with him)

3. &nbsp;Modifications for a probe of a thermostat.
&nbsp;A) &nbsp; I forgot to ask him about this. &nbsp; &nbsp;But all it takes is a drill and you have the option of putting the little hole anywhere you want.
