aldabra breeding

I've always wanted to breed aldabra's but didn't want to spend $20,000. I then thought "I'll buy babies" when someone pointed out it could take a while. How long does it take an aldabra to sexually mature?

They can be raised to breeder size in 10 to 12 years at best. Which would involve serious overfeeding and likely a shorter lifespan overall. Most of the people successfully breeding Aldabras in the US are having their positive results from very long term captive animals that were already quite old when imported. From what I understand they seem to be in the 30-40 yr range when they produce fertile eggs. I'm not saying it can't be pulled off faster than that, but it's a pretty common consensus that people raise up 150-300 pound tortoises in less than 20 years but have extreemly low fertility rates from such animals. Good luck, don't be discouraged it's a great dream to have.
