I messed up and posted this in response to the other thread, when I meant to make it a new one. If a mod reads this, please delete the other.
Update: I was informed by a friend the other day that these eclectus are grands, not vosmerai. It's completely possible they're intergrades, considering all eclectus males look basically the same.
I've decided to make some of my smaller birds available as I'm getting more involved with ratites. This pair of "grands" eclectus (they may be intergrated) are BIG, and in perfect feather. The male is actually somewhat
handleable, but hasn't ever been taught what appropriate bite pressure is. The female is a breeder only. She's been working a nest box for a while and they're ready to breed. This is a perfect opportunity to get a great pair of birds at a great price.
The pictures aren't the best quality, but they give you an idea at least.
For the pair and their huge cage (dome topped, wrought iron "California cage" style, your choice of either gray or blue), I just want $2000. This is if you're local and can pick them up. If you want them shipped, you can get the pair alone for $1800 plus shipping fees.
