Weird Purple/Blue Eyed Albino

Hi, I was taking a look at my Red Eye Red Stripe project male(100% "het" Eclipse) and noticed something different about his eyes. These are the best I could do for pics, after taking quite a few, but I`m pretty sure you`ll be able to see what I mean.

Toward the outer edges, mostly on the top/right side, of his eyes, the veining is more blue, and the background is darker, it appears purple. There is a good deal of color going on besides the normal red veining.

Anyone have/see anything like this? I know there are a few Raptors which had orange in parts of their eyes, along with the red. I wonder if this is related.

I've never seen anything like that. I would love to see a blue or purple eyed gecko.

Do these "features" do anything to the Geckos eye sight? My Vet told me theres no real way to analyze that kind of situation. I have one with bad eye sight I think because of vitamin A/Calcium deficiency and it seems to me she can see far away but not up close. I assume this because she took warrior stance seeing my Rats on the bed as I was holding her beside the bed standing up and she sat and watched them. She has VERY bad aim close up for Crickets though, she always aims to short. So does this affect their eye sight?

He is as far as I know, the first one like this, but is able to just fine. Leos do not have "good" eyesight in general. Their eyes are made for their mostly nocturnal behavior, and hiding from the sunlight. Albinos are more sensitive to light, so they are nearly blind in bright light.

I know what you mean, I think some geckos are just clumsy eaters. Some eat like that as hatchlings, and some maybe just never learn so well(?).
