he has now pooped three times i think it was stress from being relocated and having a new cage and place and he is set up with soil mix as the substrait and logs and sticks to climb on along with some plants that i need to change asap

Hey, how is your iguanna doing now? I've had a lot of them, and it could be a compacted bowel, try putting him in a sink full of warm water and rubbing his under belly until he goes to the bathroom. If you have any questions that are ergent, please feel free to email us at Waldoslilresq@gmail.com we will respond promptly.

he is doing great and he is really feisty lol. i held him 2 days ago and he tried to bite me. I think i'm going to post a thread to fallow him as he grows and the cages get bigger (i'm planing for a 6x8x4 for inside and a 8x8x7 for outside). Also when will i be able to tell if he is a boy or a girl. (i was told boy because of the head structure but i want to be sure)

I would say in about a year or two. Males will start developing distinctive femoral pores under their thighs.

Also, males typically tend to have larger heads, longer spines, bigger jowls and dewlaps...but these things don't really develop into later, and its still rather subjective. I've seen some female igs that can make you second guess. Femoral pores are the main way, IMO.

he is starting to show some signs of femorals already so maybe he will be a very manly iggy
