Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Poll: multiple snakes
This is for two females in a huge enclosure plenty of hides, places to go, can be separated for feeding. The reason for this poll is I have searched back about 14+ pages in this forum but it seems theres no definite answer if ones wrong or not maybe a bad idea, but not something you can't do. this should make it pretty clear. multiple

Dave,
Good job on learning polls, practice makes perfect, lol
I have several enclosures with multiple snakes due to a recent purchase, they are all boids and came multiply housed. This is NOT a good idea, I believe, for corn snakes and the like, because apparently they will snack on each other.

some species take very well to a "community" environment. so much so that they are routinely kept that way. in other cases, individual snakes are best housed separately for a variety of reasons. Personally, I consider ball pythons to be in this category. That is not to say that your snakes won't do ok, or even thrive, in the type of set up you are talking about...the only way to find out is to try, if that is what you really want to do. In any event, I would only consider such housing if, and only if, the to snakes in question are well acclimated to their current situations. My suggestion, if you choose to proceed, would be to set up the enclosure with a temporary divider. Keep it in place when you put the snakes in (one per side, of course). once they are both acclimated to their new homes, you can remove the divider. this will also allow for easy separation for feeding, and (in case they don't do well) can be made permanent.

hhmoore,Great you understood me perfectly thats exactly what I'll be able to do if it doesn't work, while my male and female were not as old I put them in the same tank (40 gallon breeder) they acted like they usually do but I separated them a while ago I didn't want an accidental breeding.

i thought about building a huge cage for mine and putting 2 or 3 in there but mine was gonna be a lot bigger than a 40 breeder, i was planning on a cage that was 12'x10'x10' with flexwyatt running under the floor and a a/c and heater (it was gonna be a shed type thing outside) with insulated walls. i was gonna make the floor and inside walls from pvc or some type of plastic. i was gonna have one corner with a waterfall and one corner and another corner with sticks and vines to clib on and alot of hide areas. i would make sure there was temp varientations by the spacing of the flexwyatt under the floor

stupidclauton, The 40 gal breeder is where she's housed now alone, but in the past is when I tested how the snakes would react to each other. (when they were unable to breed, now that another story) The tank for the two adult females will be much bigger being that I want to give them extra space.
