Prehistoric Pets

What lived with the dinosaurs and is still alive?

What can grow from an egg to as much as 2 inches in a few weeks with little effort on your part?

What comes as a complete kit (except for a small, disposable type plastic dish that you supply) so you can just add water and watch them grow?

Triops longicaudatis, that's what. Giant tadpole shrimp.

Remember the 'Sea Monkeys' you saw in comic books or might have tried yourself as a kid?

Those are for kids. Triops are different. They're upsized for adults. We think they look a lot like a freshwater horseshoe crab. All of our eggs are laboratory grown so as not to interfere with natural populations.

Cheers.
