Three people in Seminole County, Fla., were arrested Wednesday on suspicion they stole dozens of snakes and baby alligators from a pet store, police told Local 6 News.
Seminole County investigators said Katherine Jones (pictured), Andrew Rugur and Neal Schmidt apparently broke into JP Pets in Sanford through a back door and took the exotic animals.
When the owner of the pet store arrived this week, he found several of the animals loose in the store and dozens more missing.
It was not known how police linked the three suspects to the pet store robbery.
The stolen animals were worth thousands of dollars.
