Looks like your suspected snow became claustrophobic and went a little crazy.

Awwww!!!!!!!!!!!

More, more, MORE cute little Baby pics Please!! Those little Babies are SO cute! I would love to be one of you guys neighbor or something! I wish I could Breed Jakers, but I live in an apartment, and my landlord doesn't like Snakes! I'm lucky to have Jake. They are supposed to live for about 20 years though. I hope Jake lives that long, so I can breed him eventually! Not to sell. No offense to anybody, but I think Jakers has THE CUTEST nose I have EVER seen! How in the world could I not want to reproduce that nose!? Seriously! Thats what next months picture contest headline should be! "Cutest nose Contest." I swear Jakers would have a good chance at winning that if I had a camera! Gggrrrrr! I have some questions to. What is "candeling" TripleMoons? Also, do any of you ever give your Snakes vitamins, or "vitamin enriched" Pinkies, and have there poop come out lookin different. Jakes is darker when he gets these. I don't think its anything to worry about, but it would make me feel a lot better if you guys said you've had that happen to you before. Oh, and how do those Snakes get out of that icky stuff? Can they breath when they come out? Do you have to wipe them down? I bet it all just happens naturally! Well, I can't think of anymore questions for now, but I'll be back!! Cutest Babies TripleMoons! What a lucky Mommy!!!!!!!

Candeling is when you hold a small flash light in a dark room up to the egg. I attached a picture for you.

I've never tried vitamin supplements, but I know it's done. I've thought about it, but I have never found the need to.

The "icky stuff" doesn't bother them at all. It dries without a problem. I wouldn't even try to wipe it off them, squirmey hatchlings would probably be really hard to wipe down. They don't take their first breaths of air until they stick their little noses out.

I love the candling pics....I've tried to get good pics of that before, but they never turn out worth a darn. Those are great!

This is my latest clutch laid....a long ways from candling yet, lol.

Well one from each clutch is out of the egg now...

2006-01
1 Anery

2006-02
1 Snowcicle

However, the noses and misc parts I can see in pipped eggs...

2006-01
1 Amel
1 Anery
1 Normal
1 Snow

2006-01
3 Creamsicles (CHERRY RED at that)
1 Snowsicle

So I only have...18 more eggs to go...
