Root canals suck.

I just got my third round of endodontic therapy today. This was the first one I was awake for.
Boy, do they suck.
Ugh. My tooth is aching, my gums are aching, I have a sore throat, my jaw feels like it's broken in 3 places...
Advil and hydrocodones are not even touching it.

I hate this.

You mean having a hole frilled all the way through your tooth to the jaw and by doing so removing the inflamed and infected nerve and replacing it with a piece of plastic isn't your idea of a good time?



*Note: Teeth that have had a root canal need to be crowned due to the tooth becoming brittle now that the nerve is gone.

Lol! Who knew it wouldn't be fun? I was so bummed.
Yes, I'm going in on the 8th to get my crown on.

Have you taken your snake to the Vet yet? How is it doing? I think they are waiting for that answer over in BP.net.

I posted an answer over there about an hour or so ago.
The vet didn't have an appt (they were full, doc was only in for a little while i guess) so I made on for this coming Thursday.
She looks a lot better (Madison), but I'm still going to take her in.

Ok, I see it, I will answer over there, but someone suggested a burn. I think I requested some pictures of her set up so that we could troubleshoot with you.

sorry for taking this off topic, I was concerned about the animal..many of us are.

No, I really appreciate it--it's more important than me whining about my teeth anyway (though they do hurt :/)
I'll take some photos of her set up in a little bit. My phone's memory is almost full so I'll have to delete some stuff, could take a while since because my memory is full the phone runs slow lol.

I think it's called gutta percha?

Rachelle, you need to have someone stomp on your big toe (either foot). It will take your mind off the pain in your mouth.
Also, don't be afraid of the Lortab - it is your friend more than the NSAIDS.

Be sure to swish with warm salty water more often than you might want to. It will make your throat feel better, and take some of the ache away as well.

Hope you feel better and are back to jamming on your cello in no time. Can you play Eruption? I saw a youtube video of a guy playing it on a cello not too long ago.
