it is unlikely that the breeder or other vendors will provide appropriate winter transport materials. since it will be in the 30 degree range, you have a couple of options: 1) put it in a styro box with a couple of heat packs (you can get a 3 pack at walmart for about $2...I know that alot of people say these should not be used, but we are only talking about a trip home from a show). or 2) dress warmly and put your new pet inside your shirt, in an appropriate bag of course. if you go this root, you will want to avoid being jostled/bumped and definitely minimize your time outside. if possible, have somebody warm up your vehicle and bring it close to the building to pick you up.
