$1000/500 bill

heres a good question can anyone help me figure out the value for a 1000 dollar bill and a 500 dollar bill? I no there worth more then their face value and was wondering if anyone noes their values ?????

Since they haven't been printed in many, many years they are worth quite a bit more than face value. Actual value of any given note would depend on its condition, of course. If you have one you might consider having it appraised by a reputable dealer to find its true worth.

The largest bill currently printed by the US Treasury is $100.

Condition plays a huge role in determining the value so do not handle them. Rarity is a factor also. Do a search on the net for currency value, and go to Ebay (they usually have several thousand old bills for sale) and do a search, and you can find out what others are actually willing to pay. Good luck

My grandpa has tons of these in his safe. When I was younger I thought they were all fakes lol :P

exactly what i thought to. I never new they made them lol until last night when my grandma told me she had some lol

They used to make $100,000 bills also. These were usually just bank to bank exchanges.

I get strange looks and questions for using $2 bills. I couldn't imagine trying to use one of these as common currency.

lol same here people give me the oddest looks when i use 2 dollar bills . But i don't think you can use 1000s or 500s anymore because they arnt in circulation anymore
